Last year I photographed Gina & Lennie’s wedding at Southend Registry office, Southend, Essex. Gina & Lennie have just decided on the final photographs to go in their album so I thought I would share a few of my favourites with you.

Event photographer in Brentwood Essex – Amy’s 21st

Last week I photographed Amy’s 21st birthday party at the lovely Warley Park Golf Club. Amy had a lot of family and friends there and everyone seemed to be having a fantastic night. She also hired a brilliant entertainer/singer who’s voice was fantastic, it is a shame I don’t know his name otherwise I would recommend him to you guys. Throughout the night I photographed a range of formal and more candid shots of Amy & her friends and family. You can find the full gallery from the event here.

Evening location shoot at Rochford golf club

This evening I popped over to Rochford hundred golf club and St Andrews church with my camera to take a few test shots as I have a wedding there soon. My girlfriend was with me, so as usual she became my guinea pig / model (and she does a fantastic job). I took a range of photos at the stunning venue, here are just a couple from the quick shoot in the falling light late this evening. Hope you like them as much as I do.

On Sunday I photographed the Christening of Bianca, Junior and Pedro in Canvey Island, Essex. I met them all first thing in the morning and photographed the preparation shots. We then went on to the church to photograph the christening itself. After the Christening, we organised lots of different group shots and we ended the day at a restaurant in Basildon. I captured lots of great photographs from the day, and they are really happy with the final photos I have produced.

Set a budget

You and your partner must agree on a budget, everything can be cut down from just buying it from a different place or even on the web. Plan if anyone’s going to help you fund the day, or if you’ll be using savings without using it all up! Talk to your suppliers upfront about what your needs are, as they will often be able to make suggestions about how you can make the best of the day, point you in the direction of a less expensive alternative, or different ways to achieve what you are looking for without cutting corners or quality. Go through a list of all the wedding items and decide on which ones you will definitely have to purchase, and the ones you will not need to buy or will simply not need. Just remember, this is one of the biggest days of your life so make it special.

Mansion Nightclub – Southend Nightclub Photographer Essex Event Party Photography

Last week I photographed at the newly refurbished Mansion Nightclub in Southend-on-Sea. They have done a really great job with the place and it has a really nice look to it now. As always I photographed the night unfolding capturing images of the clubbers, DJ’s and the nightclub dancers. Here are just a few of my favourite pictures from the night:

Affordable Pet Portraits – Southend Essex

Did you know there are 27 million pets in the UK, 43% of UK households have at least one pet. Therefore there is a high chance that you own a pet, but have you ever thought about having a beautiful portrait taken of your Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Hamster….. It isn’t anywhere near as expensive as you may think.

There is 2 ways we can do it, in the studio or in your garden/location (park). I can come to you in the local area, and photograph your pet free of charge. I will then upload your own online private viewing gallery to see all of the pictures from the portrait session. You then only buy a print if you like the images, if you don’t you are free to walk away. Print prices start from just £7.00 so it really is such a small expense, yet a fantastic gift.

Here is a recent photograph from a dog portrait I took at a local park, the owner loved this image and so do I.

Clare and Martin’s wedding party at The Ivory Rooms, Billericay, Essex.

On Friday I photographed Clare and Martin’s wedding reception at The Ivory Rooms, in Billericay, Essex. They had got married at the Brentwood Registry office and hired me for their evening wedding reception to capture all of the memories of the night unfolding. This including the evening guests that was not at the wedding, the first dance, the speeches and the cutting of the cake. Throughout the night I took loads of photos both formal and informal, here are just a few of photographs from the wedding night.

Amy’s 18th birthday at Bar Lambs, Westcliff, Essex.

Last night I photographed Amy’s 18th birthday party at Bar Lambs in Westcliff. I have photographed at this venue a few times before, and when I arrived I realised I had even met the DJ’s before too!

I started off getting pictures of Amy and her family, and I then went on to just taking pictures of her and her friends enjoying the night. Throughout the night I took over 200 images so Amy has a load of photos to remember her party. Here are just a few of my favourites from the night.
