There is 2 ways we can do it, in the studio or in your garden/location (park). I can come to you in the local area, and photograph your pet free of charge. I will then upload your own online private viewing gallery to see all of the pictures from the portrait session. You then only buy a print if you like the images, if you don’t you are free to walk away. Print prices start from just £7.00 so it really is such a small expense, yet a fantastic gift.

Here is a recent photograph from a dog portrait I took at a local park, the owner loved this image and so do I.

“Let me remind you that obtaining a ‘Bar’ of any description is a difficult task as you have to satisfy the Panel your image is beyond the ‘norm’. Many images of a ‘competent’ standard do not achieve a ‘Bar’… as this is judged very strictly as any national competition should be.

You were awarded a strong Bronze Bar. Well done!”

Price Range – Is the photographer in your budget? – Please don’t take this point as shopping round for the cheapest photographer. You WILL get what you pay for. A professional photographer should spend at least 40 hours work when being your photographer from the first meeting to the delivery of your final order. Please take into consideration: Prints, Albums, Travel costs.

The photographer’s style – Do you like what you see in their portfolio? Can your photographer photograph in the styles you like? Are the photos in there portfolio pictures you would want of you and your partner?

Personality – Is the photographer someone you could be friends with? Do you “click”? Is conversation easy when you’re with them?

What is their experience level – Has the photographer ever photographed a wedding? Is it a fulltime job or a hobbie?

Appearance – Ask the photographer how they are going to dress on your wedding day? Do they look smart on your initial meet?

Delivery – How long will it be until you get your photographs back? – You don’t want to be waiting a year to see your photographs!!!

Venue experience – Has the photographer worked at your venue before? If not will they be researching the venue before the day?

Back up equipment – Will the photographer have back up equipment if anything goes wrong with their main gear? Is this still of a professional standard?

Agreement for the day – What time will the photographer arrive at your wedding? What time will they leave? What parts of the wedding will the photographer include in their coverage?

Are there any additional fee’s – Will you end up paying more after your wedding? Are there any hidden costs?

Who is the photographer -  Who will be the photographer at my wedding? – When booking with a company, make sure you are talking to the person who is going to be the photographer at your wedding. You don’t want to meet a sales person, then once you meet the photographer realise you don’t click when you have already paid!
