I had really fantastic day photographing Carol and Mark’s wedding at St Mary’s church in Shoeburyness, Essex. I spent the whole day with the couple, right until after their first dance. They were both great all day, and although the weather was a bit up and down, we managed to get some gorgeous photographs. After the wedding at St Mary’s church, we went back to the pub they run, Parson’s barn in Shoeburyness (near Asda). They had a great evening including a kids dance competition and some great music! Event photographer in Westcliff Essex – Adi’s batmitzvah

On Sunday I photographed Adi’s batmitzvah at Westcliff Synagogue, Essex. Her actual batmitzvah was in Israel, so the family had come over to England to celebrate with their family and friends here. The night included entertainment & singing, dancing, a meal and a disco, it was a really enjoyable evening. I wish Adi a happy 12th birthday.

Evening location shoot at Rochford golf club

This evening I popped over to Rochford hundred golf club and St Andrews church with my camera to take a few test shots as I have a wedding there soon. My girlfriend was with me, so as usual she became my guinea pig / model (and she does a fantastic job). I took a range of photos at the stunning venue, here are just a couple from the quick shoot in the falling light late this evening. Hope you like them as much as I do.

Lorraine & Mark’s 40th birthday party – part 2

Since I wrote the last blog all about Lorraine and Mark’s 40th birthday party in Hornchurch, Essex I have received a lovely email from them thanking me for my services on the night. It is always fantastic to hear from happy customers, and I love sharing what previous clients have said to you all so that you know the standard of service you will be provided with if you book me for any photography package. 40th birthday party photographer Hornchurch Essex – Lorraine & Mark

Last Saturday I photographed Lorraine and Mark’s joint 40th birthday party at the Royal British Legion, Hornchurch, Essex. It was a 1971 themed party, and they did a fantastic job decorating the venue, it looked great! There were some brilliant outfits worn by both Lorraine & Mark, and all of their guests. Overall it was a really enjoyable night, great music and lots of great people!

On Sunday I photographed the Christening of Bianca, Junior and Pedro in Canvey Island, Essex. I met them all first thing in the morning and photographed the preparation shots. We then went on to the church to photograph the christening itself. After the Christening, we organised lots of different group shots and we ended the day at a restaurant in Basildon. I captured lots of great photographs from the day, and they are really happy with the final photos I have produced.

Last week I photographed the Sunnymede junior school year 6 leavers party in Billericay, Essex. It was a really fantastic party organised by the parents of the pupils at the school, all of the kids (and the parents) had great fun!

I snapped away throughout the night capturing pictures of the children on their own, with their group of friends, and even the whole class!

I caught some great images which can be found on the Sunnymede private gallery.

Remember to have fun

Even though there’s lots to do and potential to panic, remember that it’s your day and you should enjoy it. Don’t let anxiety ruin your fun or before you know it, the day will have passed in a blur of stress. Take a few minutes at a time with or without your partner throughout the day to take in all that excitement, before you know it you’ll be ready to hit the floor and dance the night away!

Keep hydrated and snack

It’s going to be a long day with a lot going on, so you’ll need lots of energy. Water throughout the day will keep you from feeling thirsty, plus nibble on healthy snacks such as nuts, carrot sticks or whole-wheat crackers (take a pass on garlic or onion flavours!) If you get too hungry, your mood will form a negative – not what you want on your wedding day.
