I am proud to pronounce I am now a National Award winning photographer, after one of my wedding images received a “strong bronze bar” in a competition run by The Guild of Photographers. The Guild of photographers is a photography association I am a member of. It was the first image I have ever entered into a competition so I was extremely pleased to have won an award. Below you can see the image I entered to the competition, which is based on the film “Reservoir Dogs”. It is always a favourite shot for a Groom and his Groomsmen!

Here is part of the email I got from the competition panel:

“Let me remind you that obtaining a ‘Bar’ of any description is a difficult task as you have to satisfy the Panel your image is beyond the ‘norm’. Many images of a ‘competent’ standard do not achieve a ‘Bar’… as this is judged very strictly as any national competition should be.

You were awarded a strong Bronze Bar. Well done!”

I will be entering more of my images into the competition soon. If I am lucky enough to win another award I will let you know!

A little while back I did photo’s for Dan and Katie’s dog, Eddie. Next year I will be photographing Dan and Katie at there wedding in Stanford-le-hope, Essex. Eddie was only a little puppy, so he was a challenge to photograph, but we still got some fantastic shots of him that really show his personality. Essex Party Photographer based in Southend on Sea

The last week I have been very busy with a few parties in and around the Southend area, and now comes the blog posts. I photograph lots of parties and events and I have built up a reputation of great quality service.

I photographed Samanthas 18th at the Capones nightclub in Benfleet, Essex. Samantha had already had her birthday and been out clubbing, so her party was a chance for her and all of her friends to get together and enjoy a great night. On Friday I photographed a very beautiful young lady, who happens to be my girlfriend We actually went to get some pictures of her cat, but Laura ended up taking over. What started off with just a few shots, ended up with 200 pictures. Below are just 4 from the shoot that Laura liked. Last Friday I was covering for a friend again in Mayhem nightclub, Southend-on-Sea. I had a great night in there as usual and captured loads of photos. The studio he currently uses is in Rayleigh along the High Street and consists of two rooms, one white and one black. There are also changing facilities for your convenience.

It’s central location offers good access within 30 minutes drive from all directions and there is a large public car park to the rear in Websters Way. There are also good public transport links to Rayleigh via bus and train.

Churchills was my last night in the clubs, where I had spent a week covering a friend whilst he was on holiday.
