The Lawn Wedding Photography
Today I was the photographer for the wedding of Kerry and James. They had chosen a gorgeous local venue for me, called The Lawn in Rochford. It was a lovely mild day and was overcast all day. For me, this is great as the cloud cover acts as a huge natural softbox great for photos. I met Kerry and her mum Jill in the morning at the venue, to start photographing the preparations before the bridesmaids arrived. After this, the boys were the next to show up in the best man’s newly restored Beetle. I have to admit it was the most beautiful car, and I had major car envy! Of course, we completed some images with the car, some of which can be found below. It turned out Jill and Colin (the bride’s parents) were actually friends with my parents getting on for 30 years ago. It was lovely to speak to them, and find out what the 4 of them use to get up to!
