As some of you may have read in my previous blog post, I spent a week in September up in Manchester photographing the Labour Party Conference. It was a fantastic week, but very hard work and long days, capturing everything from early morning PT sessions with Labour Party members and the British Army, to making our way around the huge conference centre photographing the stands with such companies as Google, Facebook and EON.

Whilst I was there, I got a fantastic offer that I could not refuse, a private tour of the Houses of Parliment… and WOW… what an experience it was!

I will not go into any detail about the tour, the only advise I will give you is get down there and go on one of the group tours that are available to buy… it’s a building with some amazing history that you must see!

For now, I leave you with one of my typical “tourist snaps” just before we headed in!

Unfortunately, Paul (my father) cut off the top of Big Ben 😛
