Essex engagement couples portraits

Today I met Gemma and Dylan in Southend to complete their engagement shoot. Their wedding is quickly approaching us next month at Mulberry House, so it was a chance for them to get in front of the camera ahead of the big day. They picked a lovely spot called Churchill Gardens, located very close to the Civic Centre. We basically had the gardens to ourselves, and there was lots of photo opportunities scattered around the gardens. It wasn’t a location that I had used before for my pre shoots, but it is definitely 1 that I will add to the list!

I had met Gemma and Dylan at Gemma’s brothers wedding to Kerry at The Lawn in 2016. The sneak peak from Kerry & James’ wedding can be found here. I always love photographing old clients, and it’s a pleasure to work with the family again.

Below you can see two of my favourite photographs from the engagement shoot. I love how relaxed and natural they look in both images, and I now look forward to sharing the rest of the gallery with them very soon.
