Wedding photographer at The Westcliff Hotel
Today I was off to the seaside for the wedding of Stephanie and Richard at The Westcliff Hotel. I was again lucky enough to have a stunning weather throughout the day which lead to some beautiful photographs being taken, especially some of the evening portraits with the sun setting over the estuary. It was actually one of the warmest days through the summer, so being outside was a real pleasure.
The wedding ceremony actually took place at St Peters Church, and it was a short ride on a old style routemaster London bus from the hotel. This made for some great photos of the bridesmaids who used it as their method of transport to the church followed by Stephanie behind in her wedding car.
For the evening ceremony it was straight back to The Westcliff Hotel to enjoy the rest of the day. All of the group photographs as well as the bride and groom portraits took place back at the wedding reception in the beautiful cliff gardens with the Thames Estuary in the background creating a lovely backdrop.
After the meal and the speeches finished, the evening sunset was creating a gorgeous light. Stephanie and Richard chose to head back in to the gardens to get some evening portraits, which I have to admit ending up being some of my favourite shots from the day.
Below you can find just a few of my favourites from the day, I hope you like them, and please don’t forget to leave comment below with your thoughts.
