Wedding Photography at Braxted Park
The next wedding to feature on my blog is the marriage of Katie and Rob who tied the knot at Braxted Park. The stunning driveway leading up to the venue really does take your breath away when pulling through the gate from the main road. Take a read below to find out a bit more about their special day. How did you meet?
Through family/ friends. Met in a bar on 23rd Feb 2013.
How did the he propose?
In Dubai (1st June 2016) on the hotel balcony before going to the Burj al Arab.
What Wedding Venue did you choose and why?
Braxted Park- Braxted Park is a beautiful venue and covered everything we wanted. We wanted a spring wedding so as soon as we saw the grounds at Braxted we knew it was the one. The drive way in, is breath-taking and the main house has a wow factor.
Did you have a theme or colour scheme for your wedding?
Pale pink
What source did you use for wedding inspiration?
Wedding magazines and the internet. Braxted Park and our suppliers also helped with ideas and inspiration.
If you could turn back the clock before planning started, what advise would you give yourself?
Do not stress, as it all works itself out on the day and is perfect.
What was your favourite photograph from the day?
We love them all! One that sticks in our minds are the photographs taken in the main house and the signing of the register.
What song did you choose for your 1st dance?
Donna Lewis- I love you always and forever
Was “Gary Derbridge Photography” the right photographer for you?
Yes. We were made to feel very comfortable and relaxed in all photos. Having the engagement shoot definitely helps, so you know what to expect. (photos from the engagement shoot can be found here)
