Featured Wedding at Three Rivers Golf and Country Club

I photographed Careesa and Mark’s Wedding at Three Rivers Golf and Country Club in Cold Norton last year. Below you can find out abit more about them and their day!

How did you meet?

We actually first met in Talk nightclub, mark is friends with one of my cousins and we were both going every thurs night so I used to always bump into them. Started off with a little flirt just to winde my cousin up and I guess it went on from there. Neither of us would of ever thought we would end up married!!

What Wedding Venue/s did you choose and why?

We chose The Three Rivers Golf and Country Club. I knew straight away this was going to be our venue after browsing at a few online. The main thing we were looking for was a venue with one large room, we wanted everyone to be in the same place so could create an amazing atmosphere all together which I feel we nailed perfectly! The upstairs room was a brilliant size and very modern, the staff was lovely and the price was great so it was a win win all round for us.

Did you have a theme or colour scheme for your wedding?

We had a slight movie theme with a pink colour scheme. I’m a very girly girl so had to have the pink but one of the biggest things me and mark have in common is our love of films so to add this to our wedding by choosing our top 10 movies and having them as our table names made it all it that bit more personal for us and I loved creating it all.

What source did you use for wedding inspiration?

We just browsed the Internet for most of our inspiration, pinterest was probably the main source though.

If you could turn back the clock before planning started, what advise would you give yourself?

To be honest I feel as though I would do everything exactly how we did as we didn’t stress about it and enjoyed every minute of it all but I guess the main thing to keep thinking is the most important part of the day is marring the person you love and everything else is just a bonus so never get carried away and forget that.

What was your favourite photograph from the day?

Oh god there are so many amazing pictures it’s hard to choose but we love the one of us on the bridge as the scenery just looks amazing but also love our confetti photo as you’ve managed to capture that perfectly.

What song did you choose for your 1^st dance?

We are not ashamed to say we love a bit of one direction so little things just had to be our first dance song as we love singing along to it in the car haha.

Was “Gary Derbridge Photography” the right photographer for you?

Gary was the PERFECT photographer for our wedding day, he was professional but up for a laugh with us too which is exactly what we wanted as was all about having fun but still getting the important pictures in there too. We feel he really got us as a couple and couldn’t have been happier with he’s work so we really thank him for that!
