Autumn Wedding at The Lawn Rochford
The next wedding to feature on my blog is the marriage of Caitlin and Dan, who tied the knot at The Lawn in Rochford, Essex. It was a gorgeous autumnal day and the gardens looked perfect for the photographs. Below you can find out a little bit more information about their day, as well as view some images that I captured. How did you meet?
We were introduced by mutual friends on a night out in Southend
How did he propose?
Dan intended to propose in the Cinderella Castle at Disneyworld, Florida – but I ruined it! Another couple got engaged and I was fuming (thinking he was going to). Dan asked me as we were heading back to our villa, next to Cinderella Castle.
What Wedding Venue/s did you choose and why?
The Lawn – it was nice and local to most of our friends and family.
Where did you buy your dress?
Wed2Be, Chelmsford
What about the groom’s suit?
Beales in Bournemouth
Did you have a theme or colour scheme for your wedding?
Our theme was everything we love – Disney, family and friends and a hint of Star Wars with a colour scheme of navy, burgundy, and gold
What source did you use for wedding inspiration?
Pinterest was where I got all of my inspiration from
If you could turn back the clock before planning started, what advise would you give yourself?
Decide on a budget and stick to it. I’m too impatient so bought the first thing I saw then kept changing my mind!
What was your favourite photograph of the day?
The close up nighttime shots you took – the one where we are looking at each other is amazing!
What song did you choose for your 1st dance?
Perfect – Ed Sheeran
