Friern Manor wedding photographer
The next wedding to feature on the blog is the marriage of Laura and Cameron. Their wedding took place on a gorgeous June day at Friern Manor in Dunton. They were both super easy to photograph which meant I managed to get so many beautiful images from their day. I was with them all day, from the bridal preparations in the morning, right through to the cake cutting and the first dance. Below you can find a bit more about their special day, as well as see some of my favourite images. How did you meet?
SEEVIC College, then reunited 2 years later in Mayhem Nightclub (Halloween Special)
How did the he propose?
In the grounds of Belfast Castle. Cameron is half Irish so we went back for a weekend break which is where he proposed.
What Wedding Venue/s did you choose and why?
Friern Manor – We liked the family orientated feel, and it was also very reasonable in price for the services provided.
Did you have a theme or colour scheme for your wedding?
We wanted a rustic feel and decided to go for a smokey colour scheme of pink & grey.
What source did you use for wedding inspiration?
I used pinterest quite a lot for ideas.
If you could turn back the clock before planning started, what advise would you give yourself?
To remember that the day is all about me and Cameron and so we should enjoy every moment in the run up; not everything will go to plan but you can’t let that affect your experience.

Was “Gary Derbridge Photography” the right photographer for you?
Yes – from start to finish he made us feel comfortable and at ease. On the day he done an amazing job and was so good at getting everyone organised. We felt he put extra effort in to getting the perfect shots and we couldn’t ask for a better wedding album to look back on for the years to come!
