Old Brook Barn Wedding Photography

The next wedding I have the pleasure of featuring on my blog is the marriage of Julia and Matt. They tied the knot at St Mary’s church in Warley followed by their wedding reception at Old Brook Barn. It was my first ever visit to Old Brook Barn, and I was not disappointed. It was a gorgeous set-up, the perfect venue for their wedding day.

It was a very hot day, probably one of the hottest weddings I shot in 2018. This meant we spent most of the day outside in the gorgeous venues they picked for their day. Although we were often finding ourselves hunting for the shade to stay cool and there were plenty of ice-cold drinks available. Most photographers actually enjoy shooting in open shade, so don’t worry, this didn’t affect the photos.

Below you can find out some more information about the wedding. You can also find some answers about Julia and Matt as a couple, as well as the suppliers they used. It’s great to read through all of the thought and level of detail that goes into planning a wedding day! I have also shared some of my favourite images that I took on the day. You will see just a few of the whole story that I provided about the happy couple.

I hope that you enjoy the read!

What Wedding Venue/s did you choose and why?

St Mary’s is a church in our local parish and was such a beautiful place to hold the service. At Old Brook Barn we were bowled over by the Barn itself and the lovely grounds.
