Engagement Photoshoot in Southend

On Sunday I visited Priory Park in Southend on Sea for 2 Engagement Shoots. The first of the 2 photoshoots was for Grace and Simon, who’s wedding I am photographing in a couple of weeks time at Newland Hall in Chelmsford. Priory Park is a local venue to me, and there are endless opportunities for photographs around every corner that you turn!

The weather was beautiful, with the sun reflecting off of the lovely flowers and plants over at the park, making for some great backdrops to the photos.

The whole point of my engagement shoots is to get my couples comfortable in front of the camera ahead of the big day. It can be quite nerve-racking having a large camera pointed at you, so this is a chance to have a test run and realise it’s really not that bad, and that we actually have a lot of fun!

The engagement shoot doesn’t last much longer than 20 to 30 minutes, and we also tie it into your final meeting where I can find out all of the details ahead of your big day.
